摘要
The paper deals with the evaluation of the explosive welding of a ring to the axisymmetric steel body (projectile). The two experimental methods (Hopkinson Split Pressure bar and Taylor Test) were used for the determination of the constitutive equations of materials of ring and body. These equations, together with the equations describing the damage development, were used in three-dimensional finite element code. This code also enabled simulation of the explosion detonation process. The computed pressure-time history agreed well with experimental ones. The results of the numerical simulation were compared with experimental ones. The field experiments, i.e. the behaviour of the whole body during the launching, confirmed the very good quality of the given joining (ring-body). (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
