摘要
Heart Failure with Left Bundle Branch Block is a disease consisting in asynchrony between right and left ventricle contraction, which causes strong reduction in the amount of pumped blood; it is considered a disabling and progressive disease which dramatically compromises life quality and expectation. Such disease may be treated by pharmacological treatment or by Heart Resinchronization Therapy, obtained by implantation of a special pacemacker equipped with three electrocatheters, which effect Biventricular Stimulation, thus obtaining determinant improvements of heart functions, and consequent disease reduction. We have built a Simulation model of patient management, based on actual data obtained from Vicenza hospital, in order to evaluate patient history in terms of ambulatory care, hospital admissions and possible synchronization therapy, in order to improve patient routes for what concerns both clinical results and involved costs.
