摘要
This paper aims to explore how a classroom task which is designed in an international coursebook for seven-year-old children learning English as a second language is conducted. Both learners and teachers will benefit from the task analysis in their future language learning and language teaching. The writer will explain the definition and the importance of the task in a TESOL class for young learners and some theoretical bases for balancing the demands and support of a task are then provided. Finally, the implications from the task analysis for English language teachers will be presented.
