摘要
This paper reviews two useful tools, AWARE and DaViTo, developed for solders in field operation with a viewpoint of Human-Machine Interaction. The AWARE a mobile, multimodal software application designed to help identify the impact of particular socio-technological configurations on situated perception of humans operating in complex field operation. The field experiment demonstrated the potential use of the A WARE tool as a measure of objective performance. The DaViTo is a data exploration tool that could be used to discover patterns and to analyze huge amounts of data that are generated in today's sophisticated military operational environments. Twenty-four participants participated in three sessions on using DaViTo over a three-week period. Empirical data was evaluated and potential improvements to enhance the usability and effectiveness of DaViTo were suggested.
