Lost (Lost, J J Abrams, Jeffrey Lieber, Damon Lindelof, ABC, 2004-2010), one of the most iconic and addictive television shows in cathodic history and, undoubtedly, one of the landmarks of television's first decade of the new millennium, a cult show, an Internet phenomenon, a recurrent topic of conversation, and a pole of influence of the new contemporary narratives emerged following its trail, came to its closure on the 24(th) of May, 2010. An ending that represents a turning point in the way television is watched and broadcasted. Being aware of the fact that Lost is already a part of contemporary television history, this article aims to approach the scrutiny of its narrative elucidatory.
