摘要
The rapid urbanization and high density of urban populations have increased hydrological and environmental problems. To reduce the rainwater discharge, low-impact development (LID) facilities are arranged systematically in different regional types in China. An efficient storm rainwater management model usually is applied to simulate the hydrologic process to analyze the influence of rainfall-runoff under LID situations. The SWMM model is one of the main storm flood models to guide the construction of "sponge city" in China, which is of great significance to raise the scientificity of "sponge city" construction. Numerous researches of SWMM on "sponge city" construction are accomplished, and benefits have been obtained in engineering practice. The application types, features, and shortcomings of SWMM in buildings and communities, roads, green space and square, water systems are summarized. The application prospect of SWMM in different regional types of "sponge city" is predicted.
