摘要
In this paper an open-path measurement system is presented. The system is designed to detect toxic and explosive gases selectively. The detection scheme is based on diode laser spectroscopy in the near infrared spectral range. In order to illustrate this, the development of a working prototype for the detection of hydrogen sulfide is described. One of the main points of the investigation was the characterization of this working prototype with respect to industrial applications, especially under harsh weather conditions.
