摘要:
Highly efficient near infrared to green up-conversion emission of Yb3+ sensitized NaY(WO4)(2):Sm3+ phosphors show promising technological potential. Here, a series of concentration of Yb3+ sensitized NaY(WO4)(2):Sm3+ phosphors were synthesized by high-temperature solid-state reaction method. The strong green and weak red up-conversion emission were obtained from NaY(WO4)(2):0.5%Sm3+/8%Yb3+ with 980 nm excitation. The effective energy transfer from Yb3+ ions to Sm3+ ions enhanced up-conversion emission. The energy transfer mechanism of up-conversion process between Yb3+ ions and Sm3+ ions was investigated. The change of decay lifetime confirms existence of efficient energy transfer. This work highlights the fascinating potential of this novel green up-conversion emission system.
