摘要
Recently, eco-driving, which reduces fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by improving driving habits, is attracting attention. Effective eco-driving requires research that combines the road environment as well as the characteristics of the vehicle. In order to consume less fuel, the vehicle should drive at the optimum speed for each position of the road, rather than at a constant speed. In this paper, we propose a method to derive speed trajectory in which the vehicle consumes optimal fuel considering road conditions and altitude. It is assumed that the vehicle and the GPS are combined and the road information is accessible. A midsize vehicle with internal combustion engine is selected as the vehicle used in the study and is modeled by applying map-based engine. Dynamic programming algorithm, which is one of the optimization theories, is used to create the speed trajectory which has the minimum fuel consumption. In order to validate the proposed algorithm, it is compared with the existing cruise control (CC).
