摘要
The article focuses on the emergence and development of the women's movement in the Republic of Korea. Based on the analysis of women's organizations and labor movement's activities, the author shows how the issues of women's development have been changing during the evolution of sociopolitical institutions in South Korea. The author proves that liberalization of the political regime and development of the civil society resulted in the convergence of aims of the women's organizations that initially had different ideological claims and social roots.
