摘要
Pronunciation, as one of language components, plays important role in building language mastery. English, as one of the most used language for international communication, has to be delivered in correct pronunciation so that the conversation partner successfully obtain the message of the first speaker with correct pronunciation. Apparently, English, as one of language with imperfect pronunciation, has been commonly mispronounced especially by non-native of English. The consequence of mispronunciation unawareness is fossilization, a condition where non-native of English unconsciously mispronounce English words. These English users need to be shown their pronunciation errors. Hence, a mobile application to test and check English pronunciation was built to test English pronunciation ability, to show English mispronunciation, and to cure and prevent fossilization of English pronunciation errors. Regarding that the number of mobile application users is rapidly growing, this app is developed for mobile application users.
