摘要
A method of SAR image adaptive enhancement by denoising based on contourlet transform technique is proposed. The approach developed herein processes multi-resolution and multi-direction contourlet coefficients individually and achieve contourlet coefficients enhancement by denoising according to contourlet coefficients distribution. Finally, the adaptive enhanced SAR image is constructed by the processed contourlet coefficients. Experimental results show that the proposed adaptive enhancement algorithm is possible to achieve an excellent balance between the enhancements of the subtle image detail effectively and the improvement of the visual effect of SAR image, the new image enhancement algorithm is much better than traditional ones.
