摘要:
A new mixed alkali metal borate LiCs[B5O8(OH)]center dot H2O (1) has been made under solvothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, diffuse-reflectance spectroscopy, powder Xray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis, respectively. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, a = 10.1523(9) angstrom, b = 8.4516(6) angstrom, c = 122178(17)angstrom, beta = 122.522(8)degrees, V = 883.93(14) angstrom(3) and Z = 4.1 exhibits a novel fluctuant anionic [beta O-5(8)(OH)(n)(2n-) layers based on the unusual beta O-5(10)(OH) oxoboron clusters, showing a four-connected spl topology net with the Schlafli symbol of {4(4).6(2)}. The layers are further linked via the Li-O-Cs chains and H-bonds to form a new 3-D structure. The cutoff edge of 1 is below 190 nm and it has a band gap of 5.82 eV. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V.
