摘要
G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are the largest class of cell-surface receptors and are encoded by over 1000 genes in the human genome. Their activation mechanism is investigated using live cells, cultured cortical neurons, and brain slices in combination with fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) including auto and cross correlation.
