摘要：
Blends of maleated polypropylene and maleated styrene-ethylene butylene-styrene triblock copolymer (SEBS-g-MA) were compounded in a twin-screw extruder with a polyether amine (PEA), polyoxypropylenediamine, as a compatibilizer. The PEA improved the interfacial adhesion between the rubber and the PP matrix which resulted in an improvement in the physical properties of the blends including: notched Izod impact, elongation at yield, and elongation at break. The improvement in the properties correlated well with an improvement in the interfacial bonding and an increase in crosslinking.
