A Turn-On Fluorescence for Cd2+ Based on Methacryloyl Amine Derivatives

摘要
A new fluorescence sensor (PY) made up of methacryloyl amine derivative and dithieno[3,2-b; 2,3'-d]pyrrole (DTP) was synthesized and developed for sensing transition metal ions. The methylacryloyl amine acceptor moiety of PY showed a high sensitivity toward Cd2+ ions with the limit of detection of 6.94x10(-6) M. The Job's method was used to determine the stoichiometry ratio of PY with Cd2+ at 1:4. An almost complete change in fluorescence intensity occurred instantaneously. Moreover, the fluorescence sensor showed the strongest affinity toward Cd2+ in the presence of other metal ions. In addition, theoretical calculations based on density functional theory (DFT) were investigated the optical properties of PY. The results reveal that the calculated absorption and emission wavelengths were 358 and 446 nm, while the measured wavelengths were 350, 315 and 495 nm, respectively.
