摘要
In this article we consider a finite element approximation for a model elliptic problem of second order on non-matching grids. This method combines the continuous finite element method with interior penalty discontinuous Galerkin method. As a special case, we develop a finite element method that is continuous on the matching part of the grid and is discontinuous on the nonmatching part.
