摘要：

Comparative evaluation of anxiety in women of 55-64 and 65-74 years old and an analysis of its components was the aim of this study. The results show that this problem during aging is a pressing one: the anxiety in middle-aged women increases. Differentiated evaluation of its components shows that in 55-64 year-olds cognitive component prevails and in 65-74 year-olds affective one. Operational component of high anxiety less manifesting itself in social interactions is directed inwards and is characterized by prevalence of asthenic symptoms.
