摘要
Justification: Several studies have confirmed that cannabis and cocaine addiction generate cognition alterations due to neurobiological and chemical modification of the brain. Aim: To compare results of memory related to dependent consumption of cannabis and cocaine base in a clinical group and in a control group. Methodology: cross-sectional, exploratory, descriptive and comparative study, where 80 individuals from both sexes participated, ages 20 to 40 and with 6 to 18 years of education, divided into two groups of 40. The clinic sample was selected through the results of a drug panel to determine the type and degree of toxicity in the body. Both groups were evaluated with Neuropsi. Results: The clinic group, in relation with the control group, rank lower in sensory memory, short term memory and working memory with a detriment in the learning curve, fail to integrate semantic information. Conclusions: Important differences in memory between both groups were found, except for codification
