The approached subject presents some features of a methodology for original research, considering the environmental performance as a component of the organizations management performance quantification, by considering the environmental management approach as an integrated environmental informational and decisional concept. The current trend in the assessment of performance management is the integration of the environmental management in the organizations management in a conscious and regulated way, by developing an indicator system monitored at level of decision-making centers. The responsibility for environmental problems is allotted to each decision center of the organization in relation to the involvement in the process of the achievement of environmental performance. The research objectives addressed in the paper address the following aspects: identification, monitoring and mitigation of the environmental issues in order to achieve an integrated performance management; ensuring the awareness related to the environmental impacts on management quality; analyzing and quantifying of the environmental performance by means of a system of relevant indicators in relation to the organization technological, economic and managerial particular aspects. The adopted research method has been designed on interest sequences in order to address the environmental performance, according to an integrated environmental management. The research methodological structure is based on a Simulated Research Plan that includes the following steps: determining the awareness degree and monitoring the environmental issues within the organization; designing a system of environmental performance indicators; designing the monitoring indicators system and the one for the information flow as regards the environmental performance.
