摘要
This paper presents an image-based approach to lighting design in mesopic lighting conditions. Firstly, we generate a spectral image of a visual scene from a defined point of view (a pedestrian walking along an urban street for example). Secondly, we transform this spectral image into perception maps using a computational model of the retina. Finally, we analyse those perception maps and compare them by varying parameters in the spectral image (the spectrum of the light sources, their photometric distribution, the geometry of the street, the type of buildings, the buildings and street materials ...). The aim is to determine which light spectrum gives the best results in a given situation by interaction of the built environment and the human vision.
