摘要：

A physical and mathematical model of heat and moisture transfer in midlatitudinal boreal forests is designed. Special attention is given to the processes proceeding in cold seasons. The model is verified on the basis of data obtained for the Taezhnyi Ravine catchment area located in the central Valdai Hills. The results of a correlation between the computed and measured hydraulic and thermal characteristics of the catchment ecosystem are presented for an 18-year period (1966-1983).
