A production technology for ordered packings from monodisperse silica particles is developed thereby enabling the production of new material types-three-dimensional superlattices, including the so-called 'photonic crystals' or photonic band gap materials. Experiments to fill an interglobular space with semiconductors, superconductors, ferromagnetic substances and other materials have been carried out using specially developed strategies. We report here on unique three-dimensional nanosystems, which exhibit quantum-dimensional and other nanoscale effects such as, for example, non-linear interaction between individual electron-photon nanocluster subsystems.
