摘要：
Laparoscopic reconstructive techniques will be more widely practiced if reliable alternatives to conventional tedious and time-consuming laparoscopic suturing techniques are available. This article reviews the recent advances made in finding such alternatives. Improvements and limitations of automated suturing devices, tissue adhesives, and microstaples are discussed.
