摘要
This paper presents the experiment results for a Ka-band klystron with a 100-kW peak output power level, which was developed in 2020. Three klystrons were built and tested. Over 100-kW-peak-output-power with a 50-MHz instantaneous bandwidth was measured at a 1% RF duty cycle (30-us RF pulse-width and a 334-Hz repetition rate). The measured electron beam-to-RF conversion efficiency is 40%.
