Research on collaboration between suppliers in supply chain management

With rapid innovations in information technology and the rising complexity of supply chain management, increasingly importance of collaboration between suppliers in supply chain management is attracting more and more attentions. Information sharing between suppliers provides unprecedented opportunities for supply chain management. The benefits of information sharing are demonstrated through investigation of different process without and with information share between suppliers in supply chain management in this research. An approach for evaluation of information share between suppliers is also provided, which is illustrated by a case study.
