Research on the Cross-cultural Communication and the Influence on the Contemporary College English Teaching Activities from the Perspective of Cultural Import

In this paper, we conduct research on the cross-cultural communication and the influence on the contemporary college English teaching activities from the perspective of cultural import. Cultural factors behind always exist in the language learning, even the good language learners' communicative competence may be restricted due to the cultural reasons, they might thus the understanding of outside world. So, in the classroom, foreign language teaching and culture teaching cross compatibility, promote each other, and can't attend. Only in this way can we grasp the foreign language teaching are the most essential thing, and ultimately reach highest goal of foreign language teaching. Our research combines the basic characteristics of the cross-cultural communication to help the teachers achieve better performance in English classes.
