摘要：
This editorial presents the alms and aproaches to prevention differentiating between universal, selective, and indicated interventions. As an example for a long-term preventive intervention the FAST-Track-Program is shown. In addition, general principles of effective prevention and the efficacy of preventive parent trainings are discussed.
