Study of (p)over-barp annihilation at rest into ωπ+π-π°

摘要
Analysis has been done of the reaction (p) over bar p --> omega pi(+)pi(-)pi(o). The branching fraction for this reaction is found to be quite large, allowing the collection of enough events to perform a spin parity analysis. This channel allows study of the decays, in all three charge states, of alpha(0), alpha(1) and alpha(2) into omega pi pi, including the recently discovered alpha(0)(1450) and possible excitations of the alpha(2). The data also provide information on the poorly understood omega(1420) and omega(1600) resonances.
