Increased number of generator stages is claimed to improve internal heat. recovery in the absorption refrigerator cycle. The coefficient of performance (COP) of the LiBr machine with a three stage generator is 30-40% higher than that of the machine with a two stage one. One of the classical schematics of the LiBr absorption refrigerator with three stage generator is represented.
