摘要
With the criticism of environmental deterioration, caused by the economic system, the penetration strategies of the neoliberal model in rural areas have been modified, in order to establish a hegemony instituted by international organizations, but with a consensus among social actors and interest in community development through the new rurality. This policy has motivated the change of primary activities to the service sector. The role of the State is to establish the conditions for the commodification of nature, for which it is based on two strategies: tourism for the economic valuation of the landscape; and Natural Protected Areas to guarantee ownership of the territory. Both elements always under the discourse of sustainability. The present document aims through political ecology to contribute to the study of the new relationship between man and nature, mediated by the subordination of the relations of production and subjection of the means of production by capital, using tourism Protected Natural Areas as strategic axis of analysis.
