摘要
A method for calculating the influence of optical nonlinearities on the parameters of fibre gratings is proposed. Oa the base of the algorithm, the impact of nonlinearities on the propagation of optical waves in fibre gratings has been analysed. It has been found that optical radiation linearly shifts the range of maximal reflectivity of fibre gratings into the longer wavelength region. Increasing the reflectivity of both linear and nonlinear fibre gratings can be achieved by enhancing the core refractive index difference and the number of grating periods.
