Just the NMR spectrometer! An unprecedented NMR automatic titration of a water-soluble organometallic catalyst has been carried out without the use of any physical device by employing the composite kinetic molecular device {[1.1.1]cryptand/imidazole}, which is capable of changing the pH and measuring its values within the NMR tube. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
