摘要
This paper describes an overview of advanced protection technique, namely integrated vehicle health management (IVHM) system, which is used in various critical systems such as an aircraft, maritime, power system, railway, etc. An IVHM system allows an early detection of degradation or damage to critical components, and thus enabling suitable actions so that vehicle components can safely and economically perform their intended actions. An IVHM is not only limited to protection but also the approximation of remaining useful life of components/subsystems of the critical systems.
