Rail transit access to airport terminal buildings

This paper is intended as a contribution in an important area of air travel that has previously been virtually unstudied:- How rail transit access to an airport should be located with respect to terminal buildings and how the service would most efficiently link with the flow of air passengers. It is recommended that rail mass transit be located as close as possible to both the ticket check-in and baggage claim areas of an airport terminal building.
