摘要
Context matters because it is the fully relevant environment to which software designers design. An understanding of this context defines a designer's view of the design problem. Several heuristics for getting a better look at relevant context issues and communicating these issues to all interested parties are explored. The common factor to these heuristics is visibility. Anything that can be done to make the design thinking and processes more visible will give an improved look at relevant context issues, resulting in more complete design and better fit of form to context.
