摘要：
The respiratory tract is a frequent site of infection with a wide range of viruses. Each family of viruses can cause differing clinical syndromes depending on the age of the patient and the immune response. As a corollary, different clinical syndromes can be caused by different families of viruses. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
