摘要
ICT development has supported the emergence of flexible networks for knowledge creation and innovation aid. Web 2.0 technologies allow companies to choose to interact with communities of innovation, or post challenges for innovation in open innovation platforms. Platforms act as collaborative social networks in order to gather suggestions for innovative ideas proposed by users. Organizations have combined internal mechanisms of integration and innovative management practices in their efforts to seek external inputs of knowledge in order to innovate. The suggestions of ideas can positively impact in planning continuous improvement actions and promotion of innovations. This article performs a mapping of literature with the purpose of seeking better understanding of the current scenario about the research related to management of ideas in open innovation, creating opportunities for a discussion on the positioning of the authors on the platforms of collaborative social networks and their contribution to the process of innovation. In this sense, was adopted as the methodological procedure review of the literature on the theme "the role of social networks in the context of the idea management" held from a systematic search in the database Scopus, Science Direct and IEEE. It appears that companies are evolving from a closed model to a more open approach that includes actors and knowledge beyond the company. This development requires methods and tools adapted to this new approach to managing the innovation process and the new knowledge created. Innovation supported by ICT is part of the strategy to facilitate this transition.
