Poster: Developing an Intrusion Detection System for Cloud Computing

Intrusion Detection System (IDS) has been used widely in network systems to detect malicious behaviors which can harm system or computers. However, in practical implementations, an IDS is a complex work and needs investing in the new infrastructure or in training new personnel. Therefore, it is inconsistent with the users who has a small network system. In this paper, we introduce an IDS Cloud model as a solution to implementing a network IDS based on cloud computing. The IDSCloud provides network IDS as a service over the internet which can be simple in deployment, maintenance, scalability without investing in the new infrastructure.
