摘要：
The aim of the present work was to establish the effect of dust from the EC4 power plant in Lodz on the content of heavy metals in soil. The results of determination of Pb, Zn, Cr, Co and Fe in the soil samples collected in the area of the city of Lodz presented in the work indicate that the main source of contamination with these metals are large industrial plants and heavy motor traffic. Power plant dust has no influence on the content of elements in the soil.
