Magnetic and GMR properties of magnetic granular films prepared by low-energy cluster deposition

摘要
We report magnetic and GMR properties of Fe/Ag and Co/Ag granular films prepared by low-energy cluster deposition, The mean size of embedded particles was estimated to be about 2-3 mm, and the size varied slightly depending on the concentration. In the case of Fe/Ag films, magnetic interaction between magnetic particles increased gradually with an increase in the particle concentration, white in the case of Co/Ag films, no interparticle interaction was observed. The interactions affected the GMR properties, and this caused apparent differences between the Co/Ag and Fe/Ag systems.
