Ashlockobius cursorius, new genus and species of myodochine lygaeoid is described from Venezuela. The genus is related cladistically to Orthaea Dallas, Catenes Distant, Heraeus Stal and Myodocha Latreille. It is believed to be an ant mimic. Figures are given of the details of the inflated phallus and of the claspers. A color figure of the habitus is included.
