摘要
The present study is aimed on the plant-based synthesis of silver nanoparticles by AgNO3 and by use of the phytoconstituents of ethanol extract from the leaves of Cucurbita pepo. The silver nanoparticles of average size in the range of 5-100 nm have been synthesized by easy, fast and environmentally friendly method. Silver nanocrystals were characterized using SEM analysis and UV Spectrophotometer. The silver nanoparticles and ethanol extract undergo antimicrobial and antioxidant activities. The results showed that silver nanoparticles showed significant antimicrobial and mild antioxidant activities, respectively.
