摘要
In the transition period of China, more people have recognized the particularly important role SMEs play in a large number of enterprises in generating new business experiments. Different types of entrepreneurial behaviors in transition countries play an important potential role in facilitating the shift from a centrally planned towards a market-based system. We examine the performance implications of entrepreneurial-opportunity utilization and organizational characteristics in the international context. Our argumentation builds mainly on the dynamic capability view of the firm. In order to test the hypotheses we used survey data on about 500 firms in centre china. Our empirical findings indicate that a firm's entrepreneurial orientation and its reconfiguring capabilities have an effect on its final performance.
