摘要
In this paper, the authors analyse the corrosion processes from thermodynamic point of view for eight types of austenitic stainless steels. it has been determinate the maximum temperature at which the intergranular corrosion appears in the silicon alloyed stainless steels only from thermodynamic considerations and also the influence of the silicon content in the presence of carbon in stainless steels.
