摘要
Nanoparticles of Mn-doped calcium fluoride were synthesized by hydrothermal method. The formation of nanostructures was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern. The particle size of about 39 nm was calculated from XRD data. Its shape and size were also observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Its thermoluminescence (TL) glow curve contains three overlapping glow peaks at around 399, 436 and 494 K. TL of this phosphor was studied for different Mn concentrations and the maximum sensitivity was found at 3 mol% of Mn impurity. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
