Photoacoustic responce of the loaded surface of absorbing liquid to laser pulse with modulated intensity

摘要
The experimental results on the effect of erbium laser pulses (300-400 ns long, 2.94 A mu m wavelength) on the water surface loaded by a transparent sapphire plate 9.6 mm thick are presented. The laser pulse intensity was modulated with a period of 8.2 ns. The behavior of the phase of the modulated part of the photoacoustic response under given experimental conditions differs significantly from the case of irradiation of a free liquid surface [1, 2].
