摘要
The paper describes a simple method of poles position identification of a permanent magnet motor. The method is related to impact of a back electromotive force on current shape produced when a zero voltage vector is applied. The method fulfils a gap between method for initial position detecting e.g. PIPCRM and simple back electromotive force estimation method. There are presented basis of the zero voltage vector method and laboratory results of method applied on 40 kVA axial flux permanent magnet motor in the paper.
