摘要
Image mosaic is an important function of geographic information system. However, with the rapid growth of the amount of raster image data, the traditional mosaic method can not meet the actual needs of rapid processing under the current data volume. In this paper, an image mosaic algorithm based on MPI parallel framework is proposed. By partitioning the raster data, the image mosaic process is parallelized by multi-process, and the conflict between reading and writing is resolved to realize fast and reliable mosaic. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient than the previous tools, and can be extended with the increase of data volume.
