摘要
This paper proposes an analysis of commercial transactions between the municipalities of Para, based on the administrative records of the Electronic Invoices (NFe). These records allow for an unusual analysis of the supply structure of the cities in the state, helping to identify urban hierarchies, dependency relationships, formation of clusters and regionalization. The analysis of these data provides empirical elements for the consideration of Carajas as a specific region and allows us to specify its characteristics of heterogeneity and homogeneity. The supply and sales structure of this region is presented in detail, showing its low connection with the rest of the state and high dependence on the rest of Brazil.
